Do you offer discounts?
Yes! Volume discounts are automatically applied to all accounts based on headcount. Your discount will increase as your headcount increases—no need to request it or negotiate new pricing. We also offer 15% off to registered nonprofit organizations.

What is BambooHR’s cancellation/refund policy?
Your BambooHR contract is month to month, so you can cancel your account at any time. If you decide to cancel, please understand we’re unable to offer prorated refunds. Your account will remain active until the end of the current monthly billing period. If you cancele during your free trial, you have not and will not be charged.
How many countries is BambooHR in?

Does BambooHR have time tracking?
Yes! BambooHR® Time Tracking is available as an add-on to your account. Employees can clock in and out or enter hours right from the BambooHR Home screen or in the mobile app , and timesheets are always easily available for approvals or edits. Learn more here.

How long does it take to set up BambooHR?
It generally takes between four and six weeks to fully implement BambooHR at your organisation.
What is the setup process like?
Most customers choose our implementation service, in which you provide the necessary data and your assigned implementation specialist helps you import it, shows you how the system works, and gets you set up and running. Implementation generally takes four to six weeks, during which you can expect to have around two calls per week with your implementation specialist lasting between 30 minutes and an hour.
Organizations with fewer than 25 employees use a QuickStart process. During this process, you receive a series of videos that guide you through account setup. You can also attend QuickStart office hours if you have any questions.
Where is my data housed? How secure is BambooHR?
BambooHR customer data is hosted in the United States, Canada, or Ireland, depending on the location and needs of individual customers and applicable laws. All information is encrypted in transit, and sensitive fields are encrypted at rest. In addition, the data center located in Ireland meets all of the data requirements of the European Union, European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
We use a Zero Trust model to keep your data locked down at every level, and we take multiple measures to ensure it stays that way. Here are just some of the measures we take to prevent data leaks and unauthorized data access:

Customising BambooHR is easy! Customers can customise workflows and approvals, Access Levels, email alerts, tabs and fields, and company branding.
Can I request custom dev work?
While BambooHR does not provide custom dev work, our open API makes it easy for you to integrate other applications into BambooHR, so data can be shared across systems. The API can be used to manipulate employee data and to generate reports in several formats. You can view our API documentation

Yes! BambooHR® Benefits Administration for US-based employees helps you complete everything from onboarding elections to open enrolment. Plus, you can enjoy easy approvals, comprehensive reporting, and automated carrier connections to top benefits providers.

Your billing date is based on the day you sign up for BambooHR, and your bill is payable automatically by your ACH or credit card. For example, if you sign up on June 19, you would be billed the 19th of every month
